Act Like Her: 12 Days to the New Year

There are 12 days left until the New Year, and instead of waiting for January 1st, I’m choosing to start now.

I just watched a video by Mel Robbins, and something she said really stuck with me:

You don’t become the person you want to be by waiting. You become her by acting like her.

And that’s exactly what I’m doing.

Over the next 12 days, I’m not “setting resolutions.” I’m practicing being the version of myself I want to carry into the New Year. This is about developing dedication and consistency.

For the next 12 days, I’m focusing on:

  • Consistency in the gym and showing up regularly

  • Discipline in going even when I don’t want to

  • Dedication to myself not negotiating with myself

  • More disciplined food choices.. choosing what supports my energy and body

That’s it. Simple, intentional, repeatable.

I don’t need a new year to start acting like her.

I just need to start now and keep going.

So this is my 12-day head start.

Twelve days of acting like who I want to be, so when the New Year arrives, I’m already in motion.
